FAQ’s

All players are encouraged to bring a water bottle, tennis racquet, hat, sunscreen, runners. (Racquets are available to borrow at all venues if needed).

In the case of wet weather or extreme heat, lessons will be cancelled.

We will always try to make a decision on extreme weather 30mins prior to a class commencing. An SMS will be sent to let you know if your class has been cancelled.

Please assume lessons are going ahead if you do not receive a notification.

If you miss a session due to illness, school camp etc you must notify us prior to your lesson to be eligible for a make-up class.

Notification of absence and/or arrangement of a make-up can be made by contacting us on 0401 478 955 or admin@platinumtennis.com.au

There are other classes available, and we will always endeavour to organise a make-up session on another day and/or time.

All missed sessions can be made up, provided prior notice and sufficient time has been given to missing the session.

All make up lessons are to be made up in the current term. We cannot carry make up sessions over to the following term.

Platinum Tennis Academy will make every effort to accommodate a suitable day & time.

For any long-term injury, illness or absence please contact us.

All enrolments are automatically rolled over to the following term unless you have given us notice in writing.

If you require a change to your preferred session type, day, or time, please speak with your coach and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Not at all. We can loan a racquet for you or your child’s lesson. We do encourage all players to have their own racquet so you can play outside of their lessons.

Keep in mind that you need to get the right type of racquet. Your Platinum coach can help you select the correct size, weight, and grip.

We do not take court hire bookings, but courts at our venues can be booked online.

Once your lesson time is confirmed, a pro rata invoice will be created for the remainder of the term.

Parents, carers and friends are welcome to stay and watch the lesson. However, we ask that all family and friends please stay outside the court fence during the lesson to allow the participant to fully focus and concentrate.

Unfortunately not. Any make-ups for notified absences must be booked during the term in which the absence was notified.

Credit from correctly notified missed classes during the term can be applied to school holiday programs that directly follow the term.

Missed classes can only be transferred to the following term if agreed to prior with Platinum management.

Each child is different in their ability, motivation to play and concentration level.

For this reason, we have several different programs and time lengths to suit each player. Group and Squad sessions are structured according to age and ability.

Please be aware that this may mean siblings may have to attend at slightly different times.
